The shape is fixed; the numbers are not. Tier names, limits and figures are illustrative at v0.1 and will be set with our first consultants. What is committed is the structure: a genuinely free open-source path, plus a one-time appliance sale with a maintenance and update contract, an optional recurring Cloud Shield subscription when you go public, and optional in-person setup and customization fees — billed by your consultant.

Questions before you decide
Are these prices final?
No. Tier names, limits and pricing are illustrative at v0.1 and will be set together with our first consultants and customers. The structure — a free open path plus consultant-run paid tiers — is what we are committing to today.
Is the Community tier really free?
Yes. The entire AI core is open source and free to self-host forever. It does not include the sealed appliance, Cloud Shield, customer accounts & CRM or a consultant — those are what the paid tiers add.
What exactly does Cloud Shield add?
Cloud Shield is the one closed component: a compliance umbrella that carries live regulatory posture, an audit trail and certification under DSGVO and the EU AI Act. It is the part no solo operator wants to build, run or self-insure — so we carry it for you.
How is the price actually set?
Consultant-set, not checkout-set. There is no self-serve card form for the paid tiers. Your local consultant scopes the deployment, knowledge bases and SLA with you and sets the price against that scope. The figures on this page are anchors so you know the rough order of magnitude, not a binding quote.
How does billing work?
Paid tiers bill monthly through the consultant who runs your system — one relationship, one invoice, in euros. The Community tier never bills you for software; you only pay for the hardware and infrastructure you run it on yourself.
Who installs and runs it?
On the Professional and Enterprise tiers a trusted local consultant onboards and operates the system for you — that is the whole point. You own the data and the relationship; the platform carries the liability. The Community tier you install and run yourself.
Can I cancel, and what happens to my data?
Yes. Paid tiers run on a rolling monthly basis with no multi-year lock-in. Because the core is open source and your data is sovereign, cancelling never strands you: you keep your knowledge bases and can keep running the open core yourself on Community. You are leaving a service, not a product.
Where does my data live?
On your own sealed appliance, inside your building. The box is the trust boundary, with no inbound ports; it is reached only over an outbound connector tunnel. Turning on the optional Cloud Shield public edge does not move your data — it stays on the box, and Cloud Shield is only the broker for public traffic. The internal knowledge base is always the superset; the public agent is only ever a governed projection of it, and customer PII never crosses that boundary.
Can I start on Community and upgrade later?
Yes. The open core is the same code underneath every tier. Moving to Professional or Enterprise adds the sealed appliance, customer accounts & CRM, an optional Cloud Shield public edge, a consultant and an SLA on top of what you already run — there is no migration off a different product.
