Revenue share · how partners earn

Earn on the relationship
you already own.

Bring Wegenty to the SMEs you already advise and earn a recurring share of every subscription — for as long as it runs. The platform carries the liability and certification; you keep the customer.

Three ways you earn

Distribution, infrastructure and hardware — all sharing back

Wegenty’s revenue lines map onto the consultant who owns the relationship. You don’t resell a licence — you run an outcome and share in it.

In-person

Setup, training & onboarding

You deliver the install, training and content onboarding in person. You keep the majority — the platform takes a cut.

Subscription

A recurring share — for as long as it runs

A recurring share of every subscription flows to the consultant who owns the relationship. Income that compounds, not a one-off fee.

Hardware

Resell the appliance — the real margin

The pre-imaged appliance is a one-time sale plus a maintenance and update contract. Resold under your own brand, this is the hardware line that actually pays — see the two honest routes below.

Names, splits and figures are illustrative at v0.1 — set together with our first consultants. See the tiers.

Two honest hardware routes

Affiliate links are free money. Reselling is the real money.

Hardware can earn you two very different things, and we won’t pretend they’re the same. One is a low-effort kickback; the other is a genuine margin business — and only one of them lets you actually resell a box.

Route A · Affiliate link

A cut on what the customer buys themselves

When a customer buys their own mini-PC to self-host the open core, your affiliate link earns a small commission on that purchase. Low single-digit percent, zero fulfilment, no contract to carry — genuinely free money for a referral you were making anyway.

Low %, low effort. A nice extra, not a business.

Route B · Reseller / partner

Sell the sealed appliance under your own brand

As a reseller you buy the pre-imaged, sealed AI core appliance at partner margin and sell it on — typically with your own branding — together with the maintenance and update contract that keeps WegentyOS signed and current. The one-time sale plus the recurring contract is where the hardware money actually is.

Real margin, real contract. The hardware business.

We don’t imply you can resell a machine you can’t. The affiliate link rides on the customer’s own purchase; the appliance is what you resell as a partner — distinct routes, honestly priced.

Your link, your credit

Attribution that respects your customer

Share your personal link and anyone who arrives through it is credited to you — remembered first-party on their own device, never handed to a third party. A sovereignty product can’t track people across the web, so we don’t. The credit still follows the lead they submit.

  • A clean link to share: wegenty.com/r/your-code
  • First-touch and last-touch both kept — the share follows the owned relationship
  • Leads from your link are attributed automatically on the contact and partner forms

The handle we issue you at onboarding — letters, numbers and dashes.

Anyone who arrives via your link is credited to you — stored first-party on their device, never shared with a third party. No tracking cookie is set.

Why the share model holds

You can fork the code. You can’t fork the liability.

Everything is open source except Cloud Shield. A capable consultant could fork the core and keep the whole fee — but they cannot fork liability and certification. That is precisely the thing you don’t want to own, and the reason a recurring percentage to the platform is defensible rather than resented: Cloud Shield is the insurance that lets you confidently sell something you didn’t engineer.

Revenue-share questions

How much do I earn?

A recurring percentage of every subscription you bring and run, plus the majority of the in-person setup and training fee. Exact figures are illustrative at v0.1 and are set together with our first design partners.

How is a referral tracked?

Through your personal link (wegenty.com/r/your-code). When someone arrives through it, the referral is remembered first-party on their own device — no third-party cookie, no cross-site tracking — and attached to any lead they submit so it’s credited to you.

What if two consultants touch the same customer?

Attribution keeps both the first-touch and last-touch referral, and the recurring share follows the consultant who actually owns and runs the relationship. Edge cases are settled directly — the model rewards the relationship, not a race to a link.

Couldn’t I just fork the open core and keep 100%?

You could fork the code — but you can’t fork liability and certification. Cloud Shield carries the live regulatory posture, audit trail and certification under DSGVO and the EU AI Act. It’s the insurance that lets you sell something you didn’t engineer, which is exactly why the recurring share is defensible rather than resented.

What’s the difference between an affiliate link and reselling hardware?

They’re two different things and we keep them honest. An affiliate link earns a small commission when a customer buys their own mini-PC to self-host the open core — low percent, no fulfilment, free money for a referral. Reselling is the partner route: you buy the pre-imaged, sealed appliance at partner margin and sell it on, usually under your own brand, with the maintenance and update contract. The one-time sale plus the recurring contract is where the real hardware money is.

When do I get my referral code?

At onboarding, once you join the design-partner program. The generator below builds the link from whatever handle we issue you.
